Children’s author Sharee Fitch delighted her young audience with readings from some of her many books. Here she is reading from Mabel Murple, a zany tongue-twister of a story about a young daredevil who rides a purple motorbike through purple puddles, skis on purple snow, and pours purple maple syrup on her pancakes.

The evening of Tuesday, April 2 felt almost like Christmas as the Morrin Centre launched its long awaited 10th Imagination Writers’ Festival of inspiring talks, workshops, readings, and activities.
