Quebec wins ringette gold at 2019 Canada Winter Games

The Quebec ringette team join in a group “hug” upon winning the gold medal 4-3 in overtime against Ontario.

The ringette finals at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer did not disappoint, with athletes leaving it all on the ice. Quebec claimed its first ever Canada Winter Games gold, defeating Ontario 4-3 in overtime. Gatineau’s Julie Vandal dumped in the overtime winner and was beaming from ear to ear following the game. “This is a dream come true.
